Our Approach

DeLaSalle offers a  rigorous academic program that is designed to meet the needs of all students, including many students who have not found success in traditional school environments. We offer relentless support that scaffolds the academic program. DLS' school design and instructional methods include several proven, research-based, best practices.

The more scholars attend, engage, and invest in daily learning, the faster they progress toward mastery—and graduation.

 Senior Graduation Eligibility

To participate in commencement and receive a diploma, seniors must be on track to graduate by the first Wednesday in May of their graduation year. This means they must:

  •  Be passing all in-person classes

  •  Have completed all required credit recovery courses

  •  Have taken all required End-of-Course (EOC) exams

Transferring Credits

Students transferring to DeLaSalle can bring credits from any previous high school where a passing grade was earned. These credits will be recorded on the DeLaSalle transcript exactly as they appear on the transcript from the previous school.

Summer School & Credit Recovery

To support students in staying on track, DeLaSalle offers multiple pathways to recover credits:

Summer School

Held in June after the spring semester, this session is ideal for 10th–12th grade students who need to catch up on credits.

  • Earn up to 2 credits in one summer

  • Strongly recommended for students with credit deficiencies

Credit Recovery Program

Available to 11th and 12th graders, this program utilizes Edgenuity, an online learning platform.

  • Minimum score of 80% in both accuracy and completion is required to earn credit

  • Students may work on up to 2 Edgenuity courses at a time

  • All courses must be completed within the school year or summer session

Incomplete courses are archived at the end of each session and progress will be lost.

Students may earn:

  • Up to 1 credit per semester (Fall/Spring)

  • Up to 2 credits per school year

Students needing additional credits will be strongly encouraged to attend summer school.
